Who it’s for
Beginning and experienced beekeepers who can visit the Colorado Springs store, and beekeepers elsewhere who order shipped equipment online. Live bees are different: the store’s live-bee policy says it does not ship bees and they are picked up in store. Not a membership club and not a university program.
Why it’s listed
This is a first-party Equipment operation. It runs an official catalog with a cart and dollar prices, and prints its street address, phone number, hours and policies.

- Live bees (Refund Policy for Live Bees page, checked 2026-10-16): bees are picked up in store, “We do not ship our bees,” all sales are final once bees leave the premises, and cancellation fees apply (for example $25 per 3 lb package or $35 per nuc before March 1).
- Classes (home page, checked 2026-10-16): the banner said the next Brass Tacks Basic Beekeeping class was scheduled for 7–8 Nov 2026.
