What it is

Dadant & Sons is a first-party U.S. beekeeping equipment manufacturer and supply house founded in 1863. Its official shop (dadant.com / catalog) sells hive woodenware and kits, frames and foundation, smokers, protective clothing, honey extractors, feeders, and related gear for hobby and commercial beekeepers. Home-page copy states the company has produced and sold beekeeping supplies for over 160 years, and that the Dadant family has served the industry since 1863 from its corporate base in Hamilton, Illinois. This listing is for the hive/gear supply shop with an official catalog URL, not a honey-only apiary and not a county club.

Who it’s for

New and experienced beekeepers who need assembled or unassembled hive kits, 10-frame (and related) woodenware, smokers, suits/gloves/veils, extractors, and other colony-care gear ordered from dadant.com or picked up at a published Dadant branch. Beginners looking for kits that include hive parts plus starter tools (smoker, hive tool, veil/suit depending on kit) without buying bees through this catalog. Not a membership club hall and not a university course.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party Equipment operation with a printed corporate street address and weekday hours, an official online catalog with on-page hive-kit dollar prices, and a multi-branch contact list — not a scraped directory card, not Amazon, and not an affiliate storefront.
