Foxhound Bee Company

Category: Equipment Also called: Foxhound; Foxhound Bee Co.; Foxhound Bee Company Irondale Last checked: 2026-09-18

What it is

Foxhound Bee Company is a first-party U.S. beekeeping equipment supplier and Irondale, Alabama retail store / Beekeeping and Pollination Center. Its official shop (foxhoundbeecompany.com) sells American-made cypress hive kits (8- and 10-frame), HiveIQ plastic hive kits, Sting Stopper protective clothing, smokers and hive tools, extractors, feeding gear, and related colony-care supplies, plus educational content for hobby through commercial keepers. Home-page copy frames the company around “Practical supplies and expert guidance for healthier hives,” notes a newer Honey Lane facility (“Foxhound Has a New Home”), and prints walk-in retail hours. This listing is for the hive/gear supply shop with an official catalog URL and walk-in store, not a honey-only apiary and not a county club.

Who it’s for

New and experienced beekeepers who need cypress or HiveIQ hive kits, smokers, hive tools, ventilated suits/jackets, and other colony-care gear ordered from foxhoundbeecompany.com or picked up at the Irondale store. Beginners looking for first-year hive kits (boxes, frames, foundation, covers, bottom boards) without over-buying extras the company says a colony won’t need less of in year one. Not a membership club hall and not a university certificate pathway.
