Blue Sky Bee Supply

Category: Equipment Also called: Blue Sky Bee Supply, LTD; Blue Sky; blueskybeesupply.com; Ravenna, Ohio bee supply Last checked: 2026-09-25

What it is

Blue Sky Bee Supply is a first-party U.S. beekeeping equipment and honey-packaging supplier based in Ravenna, Ohio, whose official online shop (blueskybeesupply.com) sells wooden and Paradise polystyrene hive components and kits, protective gear, smokers and hive tools, feeders, varroa and pest-management supplies, queen-rearing gear, Maxant extractors and bottling equipment, plus glass and plastic honey containers and custom labels. Official About copy states the company’s mission is to “manufacture and offer the best beekeeping supplies in the industry at a competitive price,” and names owners Jamie and Mel, who began beekeeping in 2004 in Northeast Ohio. Mel still keeps her own apiary. The same page lists Blue Sky under the Agralogix LLC family of brands. This listing is for the hive/gear and honey-packaging retail shop with an official catalog URL, not a honey-only apiary and not a county club.

Who it’s for

Hobby and sideline beekeepers who want first-party 8- and 10-frame wooden hive kits, lightweight Paradise polystyrene boxes, smokers, and Maxant extractors ordered from blueskybeesupply.com. It also suits honey sellers who need jars, bears, caps, and custom or customizable labels from the same shop, and Northeast Ohio buyers who can use the printed Ravenna dockside pickup (Mon–Fri) or visit the showroom (Mon, Tue, Fri). Not a membership club hall and not a university course.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party Equipment operation. It has a printed Ravenna address with separate showroom and dockside-pickup hours, a toll-free phone line, and an official Shopify catalog with on-page dollar prices for hive kits, boxes, smokers, polystyrene components, and extractors. It also publishes a written shipping and returns policy. It is not a scraped directory card, not Amazon, and not an affiliate storefront.

Product pages also showed a generic “Sold out” theme label next to prices on the check date, so do not rely on it. Confirm availability at checkout.
